Fake plants in your goldfish tank

Fake plants are the perfect choice for the novice goldfish owner. They are easy to install, affordable, and attractive. There are many fake plants available that look a lot like the real thing but with none of the maintenance. Fake plants also make it easy to change the look of your tank instantly. Fake plants are also durable, many lasting for indefinitely. Most fake plants come with a base that should be buried in the gravel so that it cannot be seen. Fake plants are made of either plastic or silk. The silk plants will have  some plastic making up the stems and base. In particular, silk fake plants are very realistic. When choosing your fake plants, choose a variety of heights to give depth to your tank’s landscape, or “aquascape.” Tall, densely leaved plants at the rear of the tank can hide filters and cords. Plants can even help with goldfish care – a few big leafy plants will give fish a place to hide which will make them feel safe and stress-free, helping them stay healthy.
