2009 Toyota Matrix Gas Mileage Ratings Do Not Disappoint
Fans of the versatile Toyota Matrix will be pleased to know that the 2009 version will get excellent gas mileage, according to data established by EPA-measured gas mileage ratings. 2009 Toyota Matric gas mileage ratings do differ, depending on the power of the engine and whether the specific model is a four or five-speed, but all get great gas mileage. For instance, the manual transmission version with a 1.8L engine gets 26 mpg in city driving and 32 mpg on the highway, with the automatic version just one mile per gallon behind on both. The slightly more powerful 2.4L version gets between 20 and 21 mpg in the city and 26-29 mpg on the highway, by comparison.
