Hybrid Car Comparison Savings

The majority of people are habituated to their cars having to cover a distance of 300 to 350 miles per tank before they have to actually stop for gas. Most of the small hybrid vehicles will usually have a 10-gallon tank for weight cutback and better mileage, but still will only cover a distance of about 250 to 300 miles per tank.

A hybrid car comparison between the same models, such as the Honda Escape, that comes with and without hybrid technology, shows a practical gas mileage comparison of around 8 to 10 miles per gallon. This may appear like a considerable savings over the life of the vehicle. The question here is, the difference in vehicle cost, which is about 3 or 4 thousand dollars. After taking the vehicle cost into consideration the savings may not be as attractive.
