Common home school high school courses
Figuring out which courses your high school kid should complete can be a little difficult. Many high schools required at least two years of Foreign Language classes before graduation. Many universities and colleges look for foreign language classes on high school homeschool course transcripts when considering accepting students. Most high schools require at least two years of mathematics. High schools math courses can be pretty advanced and complicated. If the parent isn’t comfortable with this they might want to consider hiring a tutor. Science courses are usually required for at least two years. Graduation course requirements vary from state to state so be sure to have to correct information before signing up. You can usually find this information on the state’s department of education website. SAT preparation courses are available as well. A high SAT score helps your chances of getting into a good college.
