Contractor’s General Liability: A Cost Of Doing Business.
When you work in the construction industry for as many years that I have, there are things you need to do to remain in business.
In addition to offering a fair product, at a fair price, with quality service, suppliers and tradespeople both have to maintain minimum amounts of Contractor’s General Liability insurance.
Having such a policy is part of doing business in the industry and should always be included as a long-term overhead expense.
In fact, there are many builders and other contracting firms who won’t let you come near one of their job sites without the proper insurance.
It truly is a world of accountability we live in.
