Checking Blowers on Gas Furnaces

While gas furnaces are definitely an efficient way to heat a home, they do take some regular maintenance to keep them at their peak performance.  One of the most common problems with a gas furnace is that the blower can break or be in disrepair, making the furnace less efficient.  So, in order to keep my Amana Gas Furnace in top running condition, I check it each fall to make sure there is no corrosion, cracks, rust, or any other trouble with the blowers.  That way, I not only extend the life of my furnace, but also make the use of it less expensive each winter.
