The SM55 Siemens Solar Panel
The SM series of solar panels made by Siemens is very popular in the market. One of the most popular models of this series is the SM55 Siemens solar panel. The model is fitted with 36 PowerMax solar cells. These cells make the optimum use of the panel's surface area as they are in square shape. The solar cells are laminated in EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) and are located between the front glass and a multilayer rear film.
The model is made of an especially hardened front glass which is resistant to the most adverse environmental conditions like ice or hail. These models like other Siemens solar panels produce optimum power even in low lighting conditions.
